Training

Drawing from many years of experience, I believe that training is a transformative process. The Content varies, depending on the body of work, from specific skills, key distinctions, principles, practices and reflective discernment.

Equally important is the container, an intentionality in creating a co-learning environment. Another way of thinking about this is the way we work together – a framework for engagement. I bring an interactive atmosphere, similar to my facilitation work, based on principles of:

  • Circle Work – the power of sitting in a circle for individual voices and the group wisdom
  • Value of each individual’s knowledge, life experiences, and wisdom
  • New ways to build relationships with one own self and others
  • Invitational space and conversational guidelines that create trustworthy spaces
  • Valuing both speaking and listening
  • Connection across differences and commonalities
  • Slowing down, pausing, and making room for silence
  • Inviting all voices into the session (Circle work)
  • Growing capacity to try new skills and ways of being
  • Values of compassion, empathy, intuition, and attention to needs

In our process of listening to your needs, values, and vision, we co-create a format that works for your organization. Training formats include
